FAQ

Can we come and see your facility?
We only do tours once we have confirmed availability for your dates. Tours are by appointment only. Please CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE.

Don't forget to bring your dog! You can also watch our drone tour!

How do we get there?
Our address does not always come up correctly in GPS. We are located off of Roosevelt Road, not Ohio River Blvd.

Be sure to turn from Roosevelt onto Toms Run, not O'Neill Lane.

From Wexford:
Take I-79 South to the Mt. Nebo Road exit. Make a left onto Mt. Nebo Road. At the third light, make a right onto Roosevelt Road. Take the next right onto Toms Run Road. When the pavement stops, keep going. Just when you think there's no way someone lives down there, you will see Canine Cabins!

From Robinson:

How do we make a reservation?
You can request a reservation by setting up an online account here. We will also need to set up an appointment to meet your dog if we haven’t already.

Why does our dog have to come for an interview?
We want to meet your dog so we can see how they interact with us, other dogs and they can sniff out the cabin. It makes nervous dogs much more comfortable when they are familiar with us and where they will be staying.

What are your drop-off and pick-up times?
We allow drop-offs and pick-ups (by appointment only) during these hours. We recommend dropping as early in the day as possible so your dog can have a fun day of play!

8:30 - 10:00 am or 4:30 - 6:30 pm

What are the rates?
Our rates are all-inclusive, so we do not charge extra for playtime, treats, love and attention.

It’s $80 per night per dog, and $136 for two dogs staying in the same suite. Your pick-up time is the same as your drop off and you will be charged $2 per hour per dog after that. For example, if you drop off at 8:30 am you must pick up by 8:30 am or it's $2 per hour, per dog until pick up.

Can our two dogs stay together?
Absolutely! That is why we made the rooms so big! There’s plenty of room to walk around with two extra large beds and dishes inside.

Do we have to bring our own food?
Yes. Please provide food in an airtight container. It is not necessary to bag each meal. We hate wasting plastic!

Can we cancel or change our reservation?
We understand that sometimes life is unexpected, and plans change, but the nature of our business makes it challenging to fill openings upon short notice.

In lieu of requesting a deposit upon booking, our cancellation policies are as follows. There is no charge if you cancel more than 14 days before to your stay.

  • 14 days notice: one night charge

  • 7 days notice: 50% of reservation total

  • 24 hours notice: 75% of reservation total

Note: Credit card on file will be charged any necessary fees

In the event of a no-call/no-show, the full amount of your reservation will be charged.

What vaccines do you require?
All dogs must be vaccinated for Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella 10 days before boarding with us and must be free of any illness or disease that could potentially be harmful to our other guests. We request that you provide your dog's vet records at the time of booking. All dogs over 1 year old must be spayed or neutered.

Should my dog be treated for ticks?
We recommend a monthly tick control treatment before your dog’s stay.

Can we call to check on our dog?
We post photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram each day, but you are also welcome to call or text anytime to ask about your dog. Please also check out our “story” as we post a lot of content there too!

How many other dogs will be there?
We now have sixteen suites and typically have between 10-20 dogs, depending on how many multi-dog families we have here.
